Items From My Personal Collection

In this blog I intend to showcase selected pieces from my personal collection that I am especially proud to own.

A few of my recent acquisitions that I am particularly fond of include these pieces from San Diego artist, Mona Trunkfield.

Pictured here is "Ring not to do dishes in" (1972) which was featured in 1000 Rings: Inspiring Adornments for the Hand published by Lark Books. This incredible kinetic ring features delicate plique-a-jour enameling on 14 karat gold.

Also pictured is another piece by Mona Trunkfield. This monumental breastplate, executed in 1973, is a true testament to her incredible craftsmanship. Fashioned in silver, 24 karat gold and jade, this piece features a hinged box which stores the extension for a more subtle look...if that's possible!
